Glasgow, 2012 : Still not a bargain...

Leica M4 Lens : Summaron 35mm f3.5 Film : Ilford HP5+ Developer : Ilford ID11

Glasgow Sauchiehall Street at winter sale time last year. Unfortunate, but fairly prominent, positioning of graffiti between two BHS window displays.

Still didn't seem like a tempting offer to me - but to each his own...

I'm Eddie Butt

I've been a hobby photographer since the 1970's.

I've recently sold off the whole "collection" of cameras I accumulated over the years and kept a Leica M4, an M6 and an M9.

This blog is my record of what I've done now that my camera choice is reduced to the minimum...

I live in Lanarkshire, Scotland. I travel quite a bit and love to photograph people and places.

I still use film, but I've recently re-entered the digital world with the M9 after a not-very-inspiring first attempt with a Nikon DSLR. So far, the M9 is holding my interest, but not to the extent that that it's going to make me give up film...
